2007 Race Season Review

2007 Race Review and Introducing Loose Nut Behind the Wheel

This year has been very busy. We finished renovating the new race / restoration shop and officially christened it “Loose Nut Behind The Wheel” and it has been fun moving in while continuing to build and prepare several vintage race cars for our trusting friends.  We are currently working on new tee shirts and accessories with the new logo for our racing/classics division.

We prepared two Volvo 1800’s, one that finished first overall at the Virginia International Raceway “Gold Cup”.  Also, a 1973 Saab 99 Vintage Racer and a 1972 Saab Sonett. Currently we are completing a 1962 Volvo 544. Our 1963 122 Amazon was on the track for 11 races this year so far including two podium finishes.

We are currently working on some new vintage racing project developments. We're also doing a bunch of upgrades to a 1966 Volvo Amazon Estate we sold from our classic collection. Air conditioning and modern amenities to make it more comfortable for it’s new proud owner. We're also supplying lots of competition parts to other vintage racers including a fine gentleman from Mexico City entered to run the Pan Americana.
